    Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice: Designed to equip students with a broad grounding in the liberal arts, along with foundational knowledge and skills in human relations, social and behavioral sciences, and criminal justice. Graduates are prepared for entry-level positions in helping professions. They may also continue their studies to earn a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.

    Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice: Designed to provide a foundation in the field of law enforcement with a focus on crime, criminal law, criminal procedures, and criminal behavior. The social and psychosocial context of criminal behavior and its impact on individuals and society is also emphasized to provide a balanced approach to understanding and effectively addressing criminal behavior. Spiritual principles are embedded in this program to help you grow personally and spiritually, and enable you to live out your faith in your profession.

  • Program Length

    Program length differs depending on how many credits students choose to take in a semester. On average, students complete the 120 credits required for the bachelor's program in criminal justice degree in four years and 60 credits required for an associate degree in two years.

    Financial aid available if you qualify and for scholarship information, please note the following: 

    • Community and Technical College Graduate Scholarship – Online students who transfer to Point from a community or technical college are eligible to receive a $250 scholarship specifically for transfer students. No application is required.
