Program Length & Accreditation
Our 100% online degrees allow students to work at their own pace. While there are deadlines associated with the online program, there are no required meeting times, so students are able to complete their work at their convenience. For this reason, the program length differs depending on how many credits students choose to take in a semester.
Undergraduate Programs
- Associate – On average, students complete the 60 credits required for the online associate degrees in two years.
- Bachelor’s – On average, students complete the 120 credits required for the online bachelor’s degrees in four years.
Point University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, and masters degrees.

Financial Aid & Scholarships
Financial aid available if you qualify and for scholarship information, please note the following:
- Community and Technical College Graduate Scholarship – Online students who transfer to Point from a community or technical college are eligible to receive a $250 scholarship specifically for transfer students. No application is required.
- Point Community Scholarship – First-term online students have the opportunity to receive a scholarship valued at up to $15,000 over the life of any Point University fully online degree program. Terms and conditions apply.
